Today, we're celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the Mini. This iconic British car was designed by Sir Alec Issigonis and was produced by the BMC from 1959 - 2000. BMW now produces the successor of the Mini, which still attracts a celebrity following. The original Mini is considered a symbol of the sixties.
